Exciting news for Ferrari fans
On the eve of the Italian motor manufacturing legend’s IPO and after the emotionally-charged victory of its Formula One supremo in Hungary, comes exciting news for Ferrari fans around the globe. This news is particularly for those who will be able to afford the prancing horse’s latest convertible.
Ferrari’s parent company Fiat Chrysler has announced that it will be floating its famous sports car manufacturer on the Wall Street Stock Exchange as early as 2016 and is expecting an initial windfall of ‘at least’ 10 billion euros.
Most Grand Prix fans and pundits are still talking about the most exciting race for some seasons in which only two teams have dominated. Four-time world champion, Sebastian Vettel, choking back the tears, dedicated his long-overdue victory in the scarlet colors of Ferrari to slain comrade Jules Bianchi who lost his long battle to survive injuries sustained in a crash last season.
However, all well-monetized Ferrari drivers want to know is when they can order their new Ferrari 488 Spider, a topless version of the Ferrari 488 GTB that was introduced earlier this year. Motoring experts agree that this is possibly Ferrari’s most aerodynamic, advanced and powerful sports car to date.
What’s so special about the new vehicle? Spider’s aerodynamics is the most attractive feature for Ferrari enthusiasts. Even with the car’s familiar twin-turbo 660 bhb V8 mid-mounted engine intact, manufacturers have created a softer ride, making the car more amenable to suburban roads and highways than race-tracks. In addition, the Spider can canter from 0 to 100 km per hour in flat three seconds.
